Denise Devone is This resident of Springfield NJ has
painted murals for many public
buildings from Hawaii to New
Jersey. She received a Fellowship
from the N. J. State Council on the
Arts for 1994-5 and is listed in
American Artists, an Illustrated
Survey of Leading Contemporaries.

Denise’s work, which is
characterized by a kind of visual
poetry.and, sometimes, by a kind of
whimsical humor, has been
exhibited across the USA as well as
in Tokyo and in Osaka, Japan.

Her work is found in numerous
collections and has been
reviewed in many publications.

Currently, she is an instructor at
the County College of Morris.
Denise earned a B. F. A from
Tyler and an M.F.A. from the
University of Hawaii
